Job summary

LEWCO, Inc. in Sandusky, Ohio seeks an Applications Engineer for the Industrial Ovens line. You will serve as the technical authority, support sales activities, review RFQs, and help tailor oven solutions to customer needs.

The role requires strong CAD skills and collaboration with engineering and production to size, quote, and install systems across customer sites. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must have in-depth industry knowledge of product application, design, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Fluent in CAD (AutoCAD/ SolidWorks) as required to develop equipment layouts or proposals.

Responsibilities

• Primarily focus on sales activity and evaluating new opportunities.
• Provide technical support for the industrial ovens product line.
• Review RFQs and specify products to meet customer applications.
• Interact with customers while developing product solutions and closing new business.
• Prepare cost estimates for non-standard products.
• Perform engineering calculations related to oven performance and sizing.
• Prepare, send, and follow-up on quotations.
• Support engineering and production in design, build, testing, and installation.
