Job summary

LEWCO, Inc. in Sandusky, OH seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to design and optimize electrical control systems for our product line. You will create and verify control programs, schematics, and BOMs, while leading cross-functional teams on complex projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of related experience, with emphasis on leadership and mentoring of engineers. On-site work with occasional travel to customer sites may occur.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
• Proficient in electrical schematic design using CAD software.
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
• Experience with Rockwell PLC programming.
• Experience with HMI development using FactoryTalk View Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical controls and control systems for company products.
• Write PLC, HMI, PC, and other control programs.
• Create Sequence of Operations, control schematics, and control panel layouts using CAD.
• Create bills of materials and routings for cost estimates and manufacturing.
• Lead projects to ensure schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Provide field and shop floor technical support.
