Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an Applications Engineer II to provide technical product support for defect metrology and analysis systems.

Qualifications

• AS degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BS degree in Electronics Engineering is a plus.
• Must have and retain valid driver’s license in resident state.
• Must be eligible for and receive company credit card.

Responsibilities

• Technical product support for all defect metrology and/or analysis systems sales activities.
• Provide applications support for customers through recipe automation audits.
• Support installs or setup equipment at sales shows.
• Develop training and demonstration materials.
• Maintain records of all work performed and training activities.
• Manage traveling inventory according to department policy and procedure.
• Set and keep schedules for training on the assigned customer site.
• Provide detailed documentation for training of customers and Field Service Engineers.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
