Job summary

Rochester Sensors, an Amphenol Company, in Coppell, Texas, is seeking an Applications Engineer II to perform diversified engineering and technical duties to support department leadership.

You will interface between Manufacturing and Engineering, lead Lean/CI initiatives, provide DFx guidance, develop tooling, and support production ramp and NPIs across plants. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering data management systems and change order/process flows.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical systems and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Be primary interface between Manufacturing and Engineering for plant initiatives.
• Facilitate CI projects and lean manufacturing improvements.
• Provide DFx guidance during design and development of new products.
• Develop tooling and test platforms to support capacity requirements.
• Lead NPIs and production ramp across plants.
