Job summary

Flowserve seeks an Applications Engineer to support our Quick Response Center (QRC) network and Valve Automation business. You will translate customer requirements into engineered control valve, actuator, and instrumentation solutions, collaborating with regional sales, engineering, and QRC operations.

The role emphasizes sizing, selection, cost estimation, and order execution for critical services, with up to 25% travel, and opportunities to grow across engineering, sales, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in control valves or flow control equipment.
• Experience as Applications Engineer / Technical Inside Sales / Sales Support Engineer in flow control.

Responsibilities

• Perform sizing, selection, and configuration of control valves, actuators, and related automation accessories.
• Evaluate RFQs to generate complete technical and commercial proposals.
• Provide technical sales support for regional sales reps and key accounts.
• Calculate pricing based on product costs, manufacturing needs, and sourcing.
• Review orders and ensure engineering verification and ready-for-plant manufacturing.

Flowserve is seeking a technically driven and commercially minded Applications Engineer to support our Quick Response Center (QRC) network and Valve Automation Business.
