Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating in fire alarm or security/low voltage field.
• BA/BS/ MS Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA and NEC codes.
• Ability to read detailed drawings and scope docs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specs, and scope documents for fire and security projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct take-offs and identify value-engineering options.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
• Develop bid proposals and ensure timely documentation.
• Partner with sales and project management for project handoffs.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing database.
• Stay current with industry codes and technologies.
