Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, seeks an Applications Engineer to formulate engineered estimates and budgets for security system projects. You will work with consultants, engineers, and sales teams to deliver accurate cost projections for alarm, CCTV, access control and other low-voltage installations.

You will analyze blueprints, prepare detailed estimates, source pricing, and support bid submissions while staying current with codes and technology trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating in fire alarm or security/low voltage field.
• BA/BS in Engineering or Business or MS in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and NEC codes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and scope docs.
• Experience with manufacturers like Silent Knight, Firelite, Bosch, Hanwha, Avigilon, Axis, Genetec, Lenel.

Responsabilités

• Analyze blueprints, specs, and scope documents for fire and security projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials and equipment.
• Perform take-offs and identify value-engineering options.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
• Develop bid proposals and ensure documentation is submitted on time.
• Partner with sales and project teams for smooth handoffs.
