Campbell Grinder Company is a leader in precision engineering and CNC grinding solutions for aerospace, defense and machinery sectors. The Applications Engineer develops grinding processes, programs, and documentation from concept to customer training, collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls teams.

Responsibilities include CNC programming, automation development, machine runoffs, process validation, and customer support. Travel up to 35% may be required as projects demand.

Competenze

• 2-5+ years practical experience in applications engineering
• Experience in CNC programming or grinding applications engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and refine grinding processes for CNC machines.
• Create CNC programs, macros, and parametric code for machine performance.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Controls engineering to translate requirements into processes.
• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot G & M code for grinding and automation.
• Support machine runoffs, acceptance testing, and process validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and design/process reviews.
• Provide applications support during assembly, installation, and training.
• Develop process estimates, time studies, and tooling recommendations.
