Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Fort Loramie, OH, seeks a skilled quoting engineer to develop project cost and schedule estimates for Build-to-Print requests for quotes. You will identify manufacturing processes and build accurate cost models to support sales and engineering.

The role requires CAD experience, knowledge of GD&T, and strong written communication. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Management and Customers to drive quotations and continuous process improvements in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Basic CAD experience; 3D modeling is a plus.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
3 years minimum experience working with customers and suppliers.
Experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the feasibility of Build-to-Print projects based on data from Sales, Engineering, Management and Customers.
Identify, develop and assist in the development of tools for the quoting process.
Help develop manufacturing processes and concepts capable of producing systems or products.
Assist with customer communication, presentations, and trade events.
Follow-up with sales, customers, and representatives.
Follow ISO procedures in the department.
Participate in activities to ensure continued process improvements.
