Job summary

Lincoln Electric Automation seeks a cost-estimating professional to develop project cost and schedule estimates for Build-to-Print RFQs and quotations. You will identify manufacturing processes, build cost models, and provide supporting information to win orders.

Responsibilities include feasibility evaluation, tooling development for quoting, and collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Management to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with customers and suppliers.
• Basic CAD experience; 3D modeling is a plus.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and internal contacts to ensure customer project success.
• Education, training, and experience requirements may be modified at Management’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate feasibility of Build-to-Print projects based on data from Sales, Engineering, Management and Customers.
• Identify, develop and assist in the development of tools for the quoting process.
• Help develop manufacturing processes and concepts capable of producing systems or products.
• Assist with customer communication, presentations, and trade-related events.
• Follow-up with sales, customers, and representatives.
• Follow ISO procedures for the department.
• Participate in activities to ensure continuous process improvements.
