Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive software development and technology leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on software development and database expertise; ability to conduct design and code reviews.
• Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, Azure, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server.
• Experience establishing development standards, governance practices, and CI/CD pipelines across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience managing life insurance and annuity policy administration system configuration, including product setup, business rules, workflows, calculations, forms, and controlled promotion across environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, drive change, build strong partnerships, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Life insurance and annuity experience preferred; experience in other highly regulated industries may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing software development team.
• Establish software development standards, governance practices, and delivery processes.
• Oversee application development, database development, data migration, and software delivery activities.
• Establish disciplined policy administration system configuration practices, including version control, documentation, testing, controlled promotion, release coordination, and auditability.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.
• Partner with business and technology teams to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Monitor operational and delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage resources, priorities, budgets, and project delivery.
