Job summary

HEICO Corporation is seeking an Application Engineering Technician to provide product design recommendations based on current products and design techniques. You will suggest modifications to customer specifications and adapt existing designs for optimal engineering and manufacturing outcomes.

Responsibilities include supporting the sales team, developing new products from concept to production, and assisting in cost estimates and proposals. Some travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is desired.
• One to three years of industry experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the sales organization to generate new business opportunities.
• Design and implement shielding and electro-mechanical solutions for projects.
• Collaborate with OEM engineers to design and implement solutions.
• Supervise changes to drawings, tooling, and specifications.
• Assist in developing new products from concept to production.
• Assist in cost estimates, proposals, quotations and customer service related to products.
• Assist manufacturing in developing processes to produce products.
• Develop relationships with product line supervisors for design input.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
