Job summary

Town of Wake Forest is seeking an Applications Analyst to support software applications and processes for the Town.

You will work with Laserfiche, Tyler New World, OpenGov Cartegraph, and Microsoft 365, configure systems, provide user support, train staff, and document procedures.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in computer science or IT and 3+ years of systems analysis, preferably in local government; a valid NC driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of systems analysis or information technology experience.
• Experience in local government preferred.
• Experience configuring and supporting Laserfiche, Tyler New World, OpenGov Cartegraph, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain software applications used by Town departments, including Laserfiche, Tyler New World, OpenGov Cartegraph, and Microsoft 365.
• Provide end-user technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve software-related problems promptly.
• Collaborate with departmental staff to understand software requirements and customize applications to meet needs.
• Configure software systems, including user accounts, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
• Assist in selecting, procuring, and implementing new software solutions ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software applications, including user guides and training materials.
