The Hiring Range for this opportunity is: $88,406 - 92,000.
This classification performs responsible technical work supporting software applications and processes for the Town.
This role involves close collaboration with departmental staff to understand their software needs, providing technical support, configuring and customizing software solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The Analyst will also play a key role in implementing new software systems, training users, and documenting processes.

The ideal candidate will have, at minimum, any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and three or more years of experience in systems analysis or computer technology, preferably in a local government environment.
Possession of a valid NC driver's license and DCI background check.
Work in this class is generally inside and sedentary; however, some movement and lifting of light to moderately heavy items may be required. An employee must have such visual acuity as to be able to read and write handwritten and typewritten material and generate and view mapping products. Work requires looking at a computer screen for long periods of time. An employee in this class must be able to talk and hear to respond to the public and other employees.
Once an offer of employment has been extended, candidates will undergo a thorough background investigation, including NC State Bureau of Investigation fingerprinting.
