Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Team Lead for application development to guide a team delivering Work Requests, Projects, and ad-hoc assignments. The role involves technical direction, workload management, and ensuring high-quality solutions on-time.

You will collaborate with customers, business analysts, and teammates to translate requirements into design and implementation. Some on-call work, travel between buildings, and a hybrid office setting at 2501 Faraway Drive,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a job related field or 4 additional years of job related work experience
• 6 years of application development, systems testing or other job related experience
• Comprehensive understanding of applications/development, QA and integration methodologies in multiple environments
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in programming languages, platform capabilities, and systems analysis

Responsibilities

• Produce deliverables related to the assigned project.
• Perform analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems and procedures to solve complex business or scientific problems.
• Lead or provide expertise on assigned projects and coordinate with customers, business analysts, and team members.
• Test modified programs, create test data, verify logic, debug, and write documentation.
• Design and develop IT systems, provide guidance to lower-level programmers/analysts.
