This position in the Division of Office of Information Technology at the Department of Management Services designs, develops, and deploys low-code and automated solutions to modernize business processes across the agency. The role focuses on application development using platforms like PowerApps and Airtable, robotic process automation, and full application lifecycle management while collaborating with business users and IT teams. Located in Tallahassee, FL, the position reports to the Information Technology section and contributes to improving operational efficiency and service delivery.

Key qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of low-code development platforms (Microsoft PowerApps, Airtable, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate)
• Strong working knowledge of programming and query languages (JavaScript, SQL) and database management concepts
• Expertise in application design, process automation, system integration, workflow development, and responsive user interface creation
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle phases with ability to analyze business processes and conduct comprehensive testing
• Strong expertise in diagnosing technical issues and in-depth understanding of application security (OWASP), data encryption, and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG)
