Job summary

iVoyant seeks an experienced Senior Application Programmer with deep Microsoft Power Platform expertise to support development, integration, and modernization in a public-sector environment.

The role focuses on designing and building Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse solutions, integrating with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services while ensuring secure, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse and RDBMS (on premises & cloud).
• 5+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Strong understanding of Dev/Test/Prod environments, deployment, security & RBAC, and SQL queries.
• 5+ years translating requirements into technical designs.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions.
• Build applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse.
• Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and external systems via APIs and connectors.
• Implement security, RBAC, and environment strategies; perform reviews and architecture discussions.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to other developers.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Programmer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to support application development, integration, solution design, and modernization initiatives for a public-sector technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Build applications using: Power Apps - Canvas & Model-driven, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse.
• Work with on-premises and cloud RDBMS
• Translate business and program requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop reusable components, patterns, and templates
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with: Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, External systems through APIs and connectors
• Implement security, role-based access control, DLP policies, and environment strategies
• Participate in solution reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers
• Support knowledge transfer and training for internal development teams
• Evaluate and adopt emerging Power Platform capabilities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with: Power Apps. Power Automate. Power BI, Dataverse, On premises & Cloud RDBMS
• 5+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Strong understanding of: Dev/Test/Prod environment strategy, Deployment & troubleshooting, Security & Role-Based Access Control, SQL Queries
• 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a shared-services environment
