Job summary

Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel is seeking an Application Support Specialist I to deliver user support across multiple software platforms in Tama, IA. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain training materials, and coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and improvements.

The role requires a foundational CS background (degree or equivalent experience), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage IT-related tasks in a dynamic casino environment.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Computer Science or related field with emphasis in software, databases, analytics and computer-based systems.
• If no degree, 2 years’ experience in CS or related field with emphasis in software, databases, analytics and computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for various software programs and troubleshoot applications.
• Design, deliver and improve in-house training programs and courseware.
• Field and resolve end-user tickets related to applications and servers.
• Document user information and problem details for tracking and resolution.
• Coordinate with department heads for training needs and objectives.
• Post updates and knowledge resources to intranet to aid resolution.
• Assist in testing new software applications under consideration for purchase.
