Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking an Application Support Specialist for a 100% remote role. The position works standard business hours (EST/CST) and supports staff and clients using our software and related systems.

You will liaise between service desks, programming, customers and employees to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in application support, strong MS Windows knowledge and preferred healthcare/insurance industry experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in application support is preferred.
• MS Windows platform expertise is required.
• Healthcare or insurance industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to business users by investigating, validating and resolving issues.
• Coordinate deployment of integrated business systems including enterprise fax, transcription and dictation.
• Create end-user documentation and instructions for software solutions and maintain them.
• Utilize internal software systems to support business units.
• Assist in migrating new acquisitions onto the software platform.
• Identify and document defects or inconsistencies in application functionality and UI.
• Perform basic application testing to ensure quality releases.
• Collaborate with developers and end users to ensure compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Act as liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams for rollout and training.
• Ensure efficient utilization of company resources and participate in long-range planning for new projects.
