Overview

Job Title: Application Support Engineer (Must have AWS strong skills in Prometheus, Grafana)

Location: 2805 N. Dallas Pkwy, Suite 300, Plano, TX 75093 - Work from office Tuesdays through Thursdays

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on L1 application support for Java-based microservices on AWS.
• Triaging and resolving incidents, analyzing system behavior, and coordinating with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure high availability and performance.
• Strong debugging in Java applications; incident management; root cause analysis and post-mortem documentation.
• Exposure to cloud-native microservices and containerized environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Required / Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience in L1 application support for Java-based microservices on AWS.
• Strong skills in Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting.
• 2-4 years of experience.

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Awareness of cloud security and operational best practices.
