Job summary

Tower Loan of Mississippi, LLC is seeking an Application Support Engineer to maintain enterprise applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. You will act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with IT, development, and vendor teams on upgrades and patches.

You will monitor performance, document SOPs and support onboarding, upgrades, and incident reviews to drive continuous improvement across the technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field with minimum 5 years in application support.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries preferred.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows Update processes and IIS.
• Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash preferred.
• Experience with third-party vendors for application support and maintenance preferred.
• Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee enterprise-level software applications for performance, availability, and reliability.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, system integration, and user support; serve as SME for supported applications.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents; identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, helpdesk, and vendor teams for enhancements and patches.
• Monitor application performance, create documentation, and support deployment, change control, and release processes.
• Assist with onboarding, upgrades, or application transitions; participate in post-incident reviews.
