Fora Financial is seeking an Application Support Engineer to deliver front-line and advanced support for our loan management platform. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a cloud-based environment while collaborating with users, product, and engineering teams.

The role involves data analysis with SQL Server, supporting .NET/C# applications, and utilizing Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps for incident management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, application support, or production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for technical application support, diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Triage incoming support cases, determine severity and impact, and manage issues through resolution.
• Investigate and resolve data issues using SQL Server, including writing queries to analyze data discrepancies.
• Support and troubleshoot applications built on the .NET/C# framework, focusing on issue resolution.
• Monitor, investigate, and document application issues within Azure cloud environments.
• Use Azure DevOps to log, track, and update incidents and work items.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering with clear reproduction steps and findings.
• Validate fixes and communicate resolution updates to users.
• Support application releases with smoke testing and post-deployment validation.
• Create and maintain support documentation and runbooks.
