Application Support Engineer: $180,000 + Bonus (Systematic Trading firm)

Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Client: FinTech

Salary: Up to $180,000 + Bonus/Benefits

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Role:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all system and application inquiries and issues from US users, handling a wide range of technical tasks and business-related investigations. Focus on providing efficient solutions and maintaining clear communication throughout. You will collaborate closely with development teams and the UK-based support team to relay user needs, identify recurring support challenges (including root causes), and suggest improvements to enhance platform support moving forward.

The right candidate will have the following:

• Experience supporting a varied and dynamic environment within a hedge fund/investment bank or similar with some product knowledge in varied asset classes.
• Good understanding of SQL
• IT knowledge including .NET and/or Java technologies.
• Good interpersonal skills and a pro-active attitude.
