Ethereum Technologies in Idaho seeks an Application Support Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to maintain and support mission-critical investment management applications. You will troubleshoot, monitor, and improve data integrity across multiple systems.

You will develop SQL queries and Python scripts, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Technology teams to minimize downtime and ensure accurate performance data.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience supporting business-critical applications in investment management.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, production application support, incident management, and investment process understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day production support for investment and data applications, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Monitor and resolve accounting, performance, pricing, and data quality exceptions.
• Support portfolio accounting, performance measurement, attribution, and benchmark processes.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Investigate and resolve application, data, and performance issues across multiple systems and databases.
• Develop and enhance SQL queries and Python scripts to support troubleshooting, monitoring, reconciliation, and automation.
• Partner with Operations, Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Technology teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Perform application deployments, release validations, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation and process improvements to reduce operational risk.
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and provide timely communication during production incidents

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Application Support Engineer with 3-5 years of experience supporting business-critical applications within an investment management environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SQL, Python, production application support, incident management, and investment process understanding. This role requires close collaboration with business users, technology teams, and vendors to ensure platform stability, data integrity, and seamless operational support.
