Job summary

The City of Sunrise seeks an IT professional to manage its ERP and utility billing systems. You will coordinate with vendors, troubleshoot billing and processing errors, and develop reports to support accounting and audit activities.

The role requires adapting workflows, implementing security measures, and guiding system improvements city-wide. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, experience with ERP systems (Tyler Munis preferred), SQL reporting, and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or closely related field.
• Certifications in cybersecurity preferred; experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting ERP and utility billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with utility billing vendor to resolve issues and apply system fixes.
• Analyze billing calculations and ensure internal controls.
• Develop and manage complex reports for end users and finance.
