Job summary

Vernovis is seeking an Application Solutions Engineer to partner with business teams, owning selected applications end-to-end in a consumer products context. You will manage health, performance, and value, while performing configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

You will translate business needs into technology solutions, collaborate across IT and external partners, and drive automation and optimization initiatives throughout the application lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supporting and enhancing enterprise applications, integrations, upgrades, migrations, or related operations.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, and vendor-managed systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT partner and owner for assigned applications, ensuring health, performance, and business value.
• Perform configuration, reporting, minor development, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Client Overview:

Vernovis is partnering with an established consumer products organization seeking an Application Solutions Engineer to join its technology team. This individual will serve as a business-focused technology partner responsible for supporting, enhancing, and continuously improving enterprise applications and services.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the primary IT partner and application service owner for assigned applications or domains, owning their overall health, performance, supportability, and business value.
• Perform application configuration, reporting, minor development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver process improvements, application enhancements, and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate and execute solution testing for functionality, data integrity, and business user acceptance testing readiness.
• Support issue resolution and serve as a liaison between business teams, IT teams, vendors, and other external partners.
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements across supported applications and business processes.
• Participate in standardized intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement cycles.
• Ensure assigned applications meet security, compliance, lifecycle, and supportability standards while providing regular updates on application health, support trends, enhancement backlogs, and improvement initiatives.

What Experience You'll Have:

• 3-5 years of experience supporting and enhancing enterprise applications, integrations, upgrades, migrations, or operational processes.
• Experience working with enterprise application platforms, SaaS solutions, vendor-managed systems, and application support processes.
• Demonstrated ability to translate operational business needs into technology solutions, application enhancements, and process improvements.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor relationship management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

What Experience is Nice to Have:

• Experience working in an application ownership or service ownership capacity with responsibility for application health, adoption, optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation or efficiency improvements across business processes.
• Experience working within hybrid application ownership models and collaborating across business, IT, infrastructure, and external vendor teams.
