Job summary

Cloudflare is recruiting a Professional Services Consultant for Application Security and Performance in Austin, TX. You will work post-sales as an individual contributor, delivering security and performance solutions, and guiding customers through design and deployment with IaC tooling.

Expect 30% travel, Monday–Friday hours, and fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus. You will contribute to design artifacts and best practices while ensuring value realization for enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing role such as engineer/consultant.
• Knowledge of OSI layers (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP).
• Strong understanding of DDoS, WAF, Certificates, DNS, CDN, analytics.
• Experience with security and performance aspects of internet properties.
• IaC tooling experience with Terraform.
• Project management and deadline-driven work style.
• English required; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver timely services for customers and show product value.
• Gather requirements and produce migration and deployment artifacts.
• Implement changes in Cloudflare environment per change control.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate with engineering and support teams.
• Contribute to internal docs and create automation assets.
