Job summary

REPAY is seeking a Security Engineer to lead product security across application and cloud environments. You will partner with engineering to define standards, perform threat modeling, and drive secure design decisions throughout the development lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, security tooling, and collaboration across software, infrastructure, and architecture teams to strengthen defenses for REPAY’s payments platforms and AI-enabled features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, product security, or software engineering with a security focus.
• Experience in secure design reviews and threat modeling for modern apps and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Review applications, features, and integrations to identify security requirements and improvements.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews early in development lifecycle.
• Define and maintain application and cloud security standards and reference architectures.
• Own and optimize security tooling (SAST/DAST/SCA) and CI/CD integration.
• Manage WAF policy design, tuning, and monitoring; reduce false positives and drive remediation.
