Job summary

REPAY is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the Security Operations Center. You will monitor security events across SIEM/EDR/XDR, conduct proactive threat hunts, and drive incidents from detection to remediation.

You will help build automation, runbooks, and response playbooks, while coordinating with IT, cloud, and network teams. The role involves on-call rotation, vulnerability management support, and collaboration on cross-team security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-7+ years of SOC, incident response, threat hunting or security engineering experience.
• Experience with SIEMs (Splunk ES) and EDR/XDR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security events across SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, email, cloud, and network telemetry.
• Conduct threat hunts using MITRE ATT&CK to surface evasive activity.
• Develop and test incident response playbooks, runbooks, and procedures.
