Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Application Security Advisor / Trainer to guide and support development teams in interpreting and remediating security findings while delivering hands-on enablement and training.

The role focuses on creating self-service documentation, playbooks, and training materials, and partnering with security and DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent coursework, internships, certifications, or hands-on experience will be considered.
• Foundational hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, and CWEs essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support development teams on interpreting and remediating application security findings (SAST, SCA, secrets, API, container, IaC).
• Deliver enablement and training through sessions, office hours, and guides for common vulnerability patterns and remediation steps.
• Create and maintain self-service docs, remediation playbooks, and training materials.
