Job summary

The Northern Trust Company is seeking an experienced leader to own the Application Security digital experience and automation initiatives. The role will design self-service, conversational, and workflow-driven experiences that help employees access Security services efficiently.

You will create guided intake flows, integrate various knowledge sources, and build automation that routes, approves, and reduces manual effort while maintaining controls.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience designing and delivering self-service, workflow, portal, knowledge-management, chatbot, agent, or digital-experience solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build self-service, conversational, and workflow-driven experiences that improve how employees interact with Application Security services.
• Create guided request and intake experiences that help users provide complete and actionable information before work reaches Application Security teams.
• Integrate knowledge sources, service platforms, documentation repositories, and enterprise systems into cohesive digital experiences.
• Develop automation workflows that collect information, route requests, orchestrate approvals, and reduce manual effort while maintaining appropriate controls.
• Evaluate digital-experience effectiveness through usage patterns, adoption metrics, unresolved questions, routing quality, and user feedback.
