Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Application Scientist to support LC-MS product demonstrations, method development, and customer-facing activities in North America. This on-site role, based in Marlborough, MA or Golden, CO, involves collaboration with Sales, Service and Product teams to deliver pre-sales technical expertise.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. in a life sciences field and 2+ years with MS/LC-MS, with travel up to 50–75% depending on site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mass spectrometry, LC-MS, or related analytical methods with method development and troubleshooting.
• Ability to present scientific data clearly to diverse audiences and build strong customer relationships.
• Experience with triple quadrupole systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations of SCIEX LC/MS products and workflows.
• Provide on-site training for SCIEX hardware and software platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Product teams to deliver pre-sales support and technical expertise.
• Develop solutions including sample prep and analytical methods for internal use or customer deployment.
• Stay updated through conferences and training programs.
