Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, NC, Information Technology is seeking an Application Owner to ensure assigned systems are configured for ministry use, support end users, and maintain stability, security, and performance of applications. This on-site role requires a strong background in application administration and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science and five to seven years of related experience.
Expertise in application administration, systems analysis, and SDLC.
Proven ability to communicate with technical and business teams and manage vendor partnerships.
12 credit hours of Biblical Studies required.

Responsibilities

Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
Install, configure, and maintain applications as assigned.
Maintain expert knowledge of assigned applications and implement features to meet ministry needs while ensuring data security and privacy requirements.
Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation and profiles of how each ministry area uses the application.
Ensure that new features and upgrades are effectively tested, communicated, and deployed.
Provide hands-on support as required and ensure documentation is up to date.
Train help desk members and system administrators to perform tier-one and tier-two support.
Provide on-call support as needed to ensure system issues do not impact ministry operations.

Join the Information Technology department at Samaritan’s Purse to ensure assigned systems are configured for ministry use, support end users, and maintain stability, security, and performance of applications.
