KellyMitchell Group is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our energy client’s team in Houston, TX. This 12-month onsite role focuses on managing the application portfolio, licenses, and deployment cycles to ensure reliable enterprise operations.

Key responsibilities include onboarding new applications, coordinating evaluations and approvals, and partnering with IT, DevOps, and business units to maintain smooth application performance.

Qualifications

• Support onboarding of new applications into the environment.
• Coordinate evaluations and approvals for applications.
• Manage upgrades and new version packaging.
• Support retirement and decommissioning activities.
• Coordinate vendor updates and environment changes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full application inventory with accurate data and lifecycle tracking.
• Manage license counts, usage, and renewals with vendors and internal groups.
• Facilitate intake of new applications and retirement of decommissioned systems.
• Receive application packages from vendors and ensure smooth handoff to engineering teams.
• Assist risk assessment workflows by coordinating required documentation and compliance steps.
• Ensure DR plans are documented, updated, and scheduled.
• Maintain understanding of upstream platforms, dependencies, and maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and cross-team collaboration.
• Partner with IT, DevOps, program teams, researchers, and business units to ensure smooth operations.
