Job summary

Spectrumforce Technologies is seeking an Application Support Analyst for Oakland, CA and surrounding Bay Area locations in a hybrid role requiring occasional onsite presence. The role emphasizes supporting large-scale enterprise applications, Linux/Unix environments, and Oracle-based data interfaces.

You will troubleshoot production systems, manage incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. 8+ months contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting applications, infrastructure technologies, operations support and analysis experience. Experience with design and deployment of large scale and complex infrastructure-application systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support SmartMeter application interfaces and tools, create SQL code and scheduling scripts.
• Diagnose data and performance faults; test, debug, and resolve incidents.
• Prepare and obtain approvals for system and development documentation.
• Perform planned and ad-hoc maintenance to sustain operations.
• Identify, debug, and resolve bugs, incidents, and exceptions in existing apps and interfaces.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to report progress on requests and incidents.
