Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a PLM Engineer to manage Engineering Change Management activities using Windchill PLM. You will create and process ECRs, ECOs, and ECNs, while maintaining BOMs and CAD documents within the system.

You will collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to support product releases and continuous PLM improvements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 0.5+ years of experience with PLM systems.
• Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM.
• Strong understanding of ECM processes.
• Experience managing ECR, ECO, and ECN workflows.
• Knowledge of BOM management and product structures.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD data.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage ECM activities using Windchill PLM.

• Support New Product Development programs by coordinating engineering changes and data management.

• Maintain product structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), CAD documents, and engineering data within the PLM system.
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with company standards and change management procedures.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams.
• Support product release activities from design through production.
• Troubleshoot PLM-related issues and provide technical support to engineering users.
• Drive continuous improvements in PLM workflows and engineering change processes.
• Ensure configuration management, document control, and data integrity within the Windchill environment.

Required Qualification

• sBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• .5+ years of experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• .Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM
