Job summary

Nordson Electronics Solutions is seeking an experienced technical support professional to join our team. You will assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities, demonstrate products, evaluate materials, and service/repair complex equipment at customer sites worldwide.

You may also participate in call-center support and CRM activities when not traveling. Ideal candidates hold a technical engineering degree, have at least three years of related experience, and can travel extensively (50–75%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Travel of 50–75% domestically and internationally.
• Experience supporting complex equipment and systems in a customer-facing role.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installations, as well as servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system and provides training. When not traveling may be called upon to participate in the Call Center Phone Support and CRM system and perform other internal activities. May also eventually be assigned to specific customer accounts as the primary technical support contact.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3 years related experience.
• Exposure to the printed circuit board and semiconductor packaging industries.
• Ability to travel from 50- 75%; both domestic and internationally.
