Job summary

ESAB Corporation, a global leader in welding and cutting solutions, seeks an Application Engineer based in Hanover, PA. You will be the primary technical resource for the field sales force and act as the key advisor and product advocate throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities include leading technical discussions with NAVSEA, military contractors, and nuclear customers, supporting new product introductions, and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in welding or metallurgical engineering or equivalent.
• Proven welding process knowledge and technical abilities.
• Experience writing PQRs and WPSs to AWS/ASME codes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for field sales and advise customers.
• Lead technical discussions with NAVSEA, military contractors, and nuclear customers.
• Support product introductions and diagnose technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of accounts, opportunities, quotes, and projects.
