Job summary

ESAB Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer based in Hanover, Pennsylvania. You will act as the primary technical resource for the field sales force, driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and serving as a product advocate to customers.

You will lead technical discussions, support training, and collaborate with NAVSEA and nuclear industry clients. Domestic travel is approximately 50% as you develop robust solutions using stainless and nickel alloys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven welding process experience and ability to qualify welding procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers to identify opportunities and provide ESAB solutions.
• Support field sales by demonstrating and validating ESAB products.
• Coordinate with R&D and quality teams for new product introductions.
• Maintain records of accounts, opportunities, quotes, and projects.
• Provide design and specification support to consultants and distributors.
