Stellantis Auburn Hills is seeking an Application Engineer to manage the external interfaces between the transmission and vehicle platform, translating torque, NVH, and mass requirements into practical design decisions while coordinating CE/COE teams.

You will own the Applications Matrix across programs, lead build-readiness, support pilot builds and EOL testing, and collaborate with suppliers and assembly plants across North America.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of transmission/driveline experience.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain, engine, and transmission operation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with travel to Canada and Mexico.
• Preferred: Master's degree and DFSS/CFD/CAE exposure, DFMEA, DVP&R, manufacturing/quality know-how.

Mansioni

• Own and develop the Applications Matrix across programs and vehicle platforms.
• Coordinate packaging studies, advances adaptation studies, and torque transmission requirements.
• Lead vehicle requirements negotiation against transmission capabilities.
• Define and track functional objectives for vehicle, system, and subsystems.
• Coordinate design work including torque converters, LV/HV connections, cooling, and calibration.
• Support plants, pilot builds, ED&D requests, and build-related logistics.
• Lead build-readiness activities and manage supplier/assembly interactions.
