The candidate will manage technical relationships, respond to inquiries, handle complaints, and assess risks with a 30% travel expectation in some markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or comparable degree).
• 5+ years application experience in an industrial environment, calling on customers.
• Bearing or rotating equipment focus.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all product platforms to customers as well as field sales and customer service.
• Develop new technical solutions and generate opportunities within an assigned account base.
• Proactively drive the technical agenda with end-user customers to establish brand preference for SKF.
• Identify and manage technically oriented projects including high value platform integration solutions.
• Provide product training and technical support to internal and external customers.
• Customer interaction will include on-site visits and phone/email communications.
