Job summary

Siemens seeks a leader to manage a team of Applications Engineers supporting the company’s medium-voltage equipment portfolio, including GIS and switchgear. You will work with Sales, Business Development, customers, factories, and engineering teams to craft technical proposals, pricing, and solutions to win new business.

You will mentor engineers and ensure smooth transitions from proposal to execution, aligning technical delivery with commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with medium-voltage power distribution equipment (switchgear, transformers, electrical systems).
• Ability to review electrical drawings, specifications, RFQs, and develop customer-focused solutions.
• Proven experience leading engineers, coordinating proposals, and supporting sales.
• Strong commercial acumen with pricing, bidding, and cost evaluation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across customers, sales, factories, procurement, and PM.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of experience with medium-voltage power distribution equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and electrical systems.
• Strong technical ability to review electrical drawings, specifications, and RFQs and develop customer-focused solutions.
• Proven experience leading engineers, coordinating proposal activities, and supporting sales efforts.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with experience in pricing, bidding, and cost evaluation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across customers, sales teams, factories, procurement, and project management.
