Role Description

The Application Engineer Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Camas, WA, with flexibility for partial work from home. This position is responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical application support to customers, distributors, and internal teams, ensuring that CEME Group solutions meet customer performance and design requirements. Day-to-day activities include managing key accounts, preparing technical proposals and quotations, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and collaborating with engineering and product management on customized solutions. The role involves diagnosing application issues, recommending product configurations, supporting installation and integration efforts, and gathering market and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategy. The Application Engineer Sales Manager also contributes to forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, while maintaining strong, service-oriented relationships with customers in the Food & Beverage and Industrial sectors.

• Relevant experience in Industrial sectors, especially with pumps, valves, or fluid control systems, is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate across global teams, and travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
