Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, IL

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position required skills: Utilizing Java, J2EE, and RESTful Web Services; Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch; Application programming using Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, SQL, and Linux shell scripting; CICD automation using Enterprise DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Nexus; Cloud platforms and technology including AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana); Testing frameworks: Junit and Selenium; and Databases: Oracle and Elasticsearch.

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558 to $150,200. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
