Job summary

Gamma Technologies, LLC in Westmont, IL, is seeking an Application Engineer focused on Mechanical Systems & Multibody Dynamics. You will help clients maximize GT-SUITE usage, model mechanical systems, and support product development with feedback from real-world usage.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, strong mentoring, and opportunities to grow into a technical leader in simulation-driven design.BA/BS in mechanical engineering with CAD/FEA proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Background in Multibody Dynamics gained through coursework, research, internships, or industry.
• Exposure to solid modeling (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve technical support requests submitted via email, phone, or other channels.
• Serve as a first line of defense in solving customer support requests, coordinating timely resolution with guidance from senior team members.
• Develop an understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers to map features to their needs.
• Advise on Mechanical Systems product roadmap and contribute to feature research.
• Assist with customer trainings to ensure satisfaction and product usage.
• Identify trends to enhance support processes and user experience.
• Support evaluation projects for potential new customers.
• Support internal software development and validation of new models and features.
• Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows using GT-SUITE.
• Participate in specialist conferences and working groups.
