Job summary

Gamma Technologies, a global leader in multi-physics system simulation, is seeking an Application Engineer: Mechanical Systems & Multibody Dynamics in Westmont, IL. You will help clients optimize GT-SUITE for mechanical systems, including MD, engines, geartrains, and electrified powertrains.

You will be trained by senior engineers, collaborate with global offices, and grow toward technical leadership in simulation-driven design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Background in Multibody Dynamics through coursework, research, internships, or industry experience.
• Exposure to CAD modeling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve technical support requests submitted via email, phone, or other channels.
• Serve as a first line of defense in solving customer support requests, coordinating timely resolution.
• Map features and business benefits to customer needs based on insights from interactions.
• Contribute to the Mechanical Systems product roadmap and feature ideas.
• Assist with customer trainings to ensure satisfaction and product usage.
• Identify trends to improve support processes and user experience.
• Support evaluation projects for new customers.
• Assist internal software development and validation of models and features.
• Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows using GT-SUITE.
• Participate in specialist conferences and working groups.
