Job summary
Novo Nordisk is hiring for an IT/Engineering role focused on operating and improving process control applications at our Durham, NC site. You will work with production and IT teams to ensure reliable system operation and drive continuous improvement across control systems.
The position requires a Bachelor's in IT/Engineering with 5+ years in process manufacturing, knowledge of PAS-X/POInT/PLC/SCADA, and project management experience. On-site work with travel as needed is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of five years of IT or engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility and/or packaging systems a plus.
- Knowledgeable in PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA.
- Experience with project management, planning and execution is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production and IT to ensure application understanding and drive continuous improvement.
- Present initiatives clearly and translate industry jargon for stakeholders.
- Gather stakeholder needs and develop action plans to support production goals.
- Provide input to product features and process improvements.
- Oversee software upgrades and releases for applicable systems.
- Coach colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas.
