Responsibilities

• Direct system commissioning, API integrations, database replication, and server clustering.
• Mentor Associate and Level I/II Engineers; establish SOPs and documentation governance.

Our client is seeking an experienced Application Engineer III based on-site in Millstone Township, NJ. In this vital role, you will architect enterprise-scale physical security infrastructures, oversee complex multi-site deployments, and resolve high-level technical escalations while collaborating closely with client IT teams to deliver reliable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy enterprise-level access control, video management, and integrated security systems across multi-site environments.
• Serve as the primary escalation lead for complex technical incidents, conducting root-cause analyses and implementing permanent corrective solutions.
• Collaborate directly with customer IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to align system architectures with enterprise network standards and compliance mandates.
• Direct system commissioning, API integrations, database replication, and server clustering to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Associate and Level I/II Application Engineers while establishing standard operating procedures and documentation governance.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise access control and video surveillance experience, including at least 3 years as an Applications Engineer or similar technical role.

Advanced manufacturer certifications such as LenelS2 Master, Genetec Advanced, or Milestone Expert.

Proven technical mastery of SQL, Windows Server clustering, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V), and enterprise networking.

Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale system deployments, integrations, and complex multi-site migrations.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred; willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and occasional travel as needed.
