Trane Technologies in King of Prussia is seeking a Controls Engineering Specialist II to design and implement building automation systems. The role involves creating installation drawings, advanced control sequences, and collaborating with project teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications include a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields and experience with drafting software, HVAC/BAS, and IT/network basics.
Competenze
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, BAS, and building automation required.
- Experience with drafting/design software is required.
- Windows OS and Office products knowledge.
- Understanding of IT/network basics relevant to building controls integration.
- Equivalency of education and work experience considered.
- Experience in project management or estimating roles is a plus.
Mansioni
- Design controls for building automation systems using direct digital controls.
- Review documents and submittals to inform automation design.
- Create installation, submittal, and as-built drawings for projects.
- Develop advanced sequences of operations to meet project requirements.
- Produce operation manuals and review contract documents and surveys.
- Assist with cost estimates and support BAS technicians as needed.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers and maintain customer satisfaction.
