Job summary
Novo Nordisk is seeking an Automation professional to ensure reliable operation of local manufacturing applications and improve the process control systems to meet current and future regulatory and business requirements. You will coordinate software upgrades and support audits as SME for process applications, working closely with production and IT teams.
The role emphasizes 24x7 operation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement through lean methods and Change Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering or related field.
- 5-8+ years IT or engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA is a plus.
- Proven expertise in planning/organization and project execution is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable and 24x7 operation of local manufacturing applications.
- Improve reliability of process control systems to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate software upgrades and releases; support audits and inspections as SME for process applications.
